How to Copy a Public Video Link
Step-by-step guide to copying a public video link from TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, X, and other supported platforms.
Copying links on different platforms
Each platform has a share or copy link option. Use the platform's built-in share feature to get the correct public link.
- TikTok: Tap Share on the video, then tap Copy link.
- Instagram: Tap the three-dot menu on the post, then Copy link.
- Reddit: Tap Share on the post, then Copy text or Copy link.
- X (Twitter): Tap Share on the post, then Copy link to post.
- Facebook: Tap the three-dot menu, then Copy link.
- Pinterest: Tap the share icon on the Pin, then Copy link.
After copying
Paste the copied link into the SaveVideoDown tool page for that platform. The tool will check if the link is from a supported public post.
