Our Commitment to Copyright

SaveVideoDown respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. Β§ 512. SaveVideoDown does not host, store, or serve any media content on its own servers. Our service provides technical tools that assist users in accessing publicly available content on third-party platforms. Responsibility for what content is accessed lies with the user.

If you believe that our service is being used to access your copyrighted material in an unauthorized manner, please follow the procedure below.

How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice

To submit a valid DMCA takedown notice, please send a written notification to our designated DMCA agent at [email protected]. Your notice must include all of the following:

  1. 1.Your identity: Your full legal name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  2. 2.Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notice, include a representative list.
  3. 3.Identification of the allegedly infringing material: Sufficient information to identify the material you believe is being made accessible through our service (e.g., the specific URL or public post link).
  4. 4.Good faith statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner described is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. 5.Accuracy statement: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  6. 6.Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.

Notices that do not include all required elements may not be acted upon. Please note that under 17 U.S.C. Β§ 512(f), any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability.

Our Response to DMCA Notices

Upon receiving a valid and complete DMCA notice, we will investigate and take appropriate action within 24–48 business hours. If a valid notice identifies material accessible through our service in an infringing manner, we will take reasonable steps to disable access to that material through our platform.

Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe that material accessible through our service was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to [email protected]. A valid counter-notice must include:

  1. 1.Your physical or electronic signature
  2. 2.Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
  3. 3.A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
  4. 4.Your full name, address, and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located

Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, SaveVideoDown has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the access of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We may also restrict access at our discretion to any user who we reasonably believe is facilitating repeated infringement.

Note About Our Service

SaveVideoDown does not host, cache, or distribute media files. We provide technical tools that access publicly available URLs on third-party platforms. Copyright enforcement for content on those platforms should primarily be directed to the platform itself (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Reddit). We can only disable our tool's access to specific public URLs.
